Nice to meet you

Whether you are coming into Mode Elle for the first time to learn more about the world of modelling or acting, or have been working with Mode Elle for some time, Nicole and Leah will be your two main points of contact. Both originally from the Belleville area and having been a part of Mode Elle's academy and agency from a young age, Nicole and Leah are able to connect to aspiring models and actors on many levels: as previous students, models, industry insiders, as well as from an agent's point of view.

As the fashion and entertainment industries are constantly changing and evolving, the Mode Elle team is very committed to networking and being involved in industry projects beyond their work at Mode Elle, so that the academy curriculum is always relevant and the agency remains cutting edge and connected to the industry's best.

Located between Toronto and Montreal, Mode Elle is in an ideal spot to scout new talent and serve clients in larger surrounding cities. As a downtown Belleville business, the Mode Elle team is committed to the idea that big things can come from small towns!

We look forward to meeting you soon!

Nicole Voskamp

For more than 10 years, Nicole has been central to the work that takes place at Mode Elle; from teaching classes, coordinating events, to becoming the primary booking agent. Today, as Mode Elle's owner and President, Nicole is passionate about educating new models and talent to give them a competitive edge as they break into the talent or fashion industry.

Nicole got her start in the industry at the age of 12 years old when she completed the Professional Modelling, Acting and Personal Development course at Mode Elle. The course gave Nicole insight into the fashion industry, as she was determined to attend Fashion School in Toronto. During her time at school, Nicole worked for two top modelling agencies in Toronto. After completing the Fashion Arts program, Nicole moved back to her hometown Belleville and started her career at Mode Elle. Nicole was fortunate enough to work alongside the previous owner Audra Anderson for over 10 years.

While working at Mode Elle, Nicole opened a local clothing store, KC Closet Fashion Boutique, in memory of her late mother Karen Coltman. In October 2019 Mode Elle and KC Closet became a family under the name NKC Fashion Inc.

Today, as President and Booking agent, Nicole's days are filled with promoting models and talent to high-profile clients, international agencies, as well as growing the business by networking with the industry's best.

Outside of Mode Elle, Nicole loves spending time with her family and is enjoying being a new mom to her 1-year-old son- Hendrik. She also enjoys spending time at her store, supporting local businesses and travelling.

Leah Hamilton

Director of Operations

Leah will most likely be your first point of contact at Mode Elle. She looks forward to hearing about your interest in modelling or acting and helping you map out a path for future success in the industry!

Leah got her start in the modelling industry when she was scouted for the Mode Elle’s Kids division at the age of six. While being promoted by Mode Elle throughout her school years, Leah was heavily involved in the local and national arts community, training in the Professional division of the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, while performing in a variety of musical theatre projects. Leah started teaching at Mode Elle in 2014, as a teacher of the Professional Model and Talent course, specifically focusing on coaching our models in photo-movement and on the runway; where her experience with music, movement, and performing is directly reflected in her teaching technique and style.

Leah’s passion for art and culture moved her to the Netherlands in 2016 where she completed her university education, graduating with a BA(Hons) from the University of Groningen, specializing in Theatre and Cultural Entrepreneurship. During this time she also founded an Ed-tech company and continued to build her network in the fashion industry on an international scale.

Today, as Director of Operations, Leah wears many hats at the agency. Leah primarily works with new models and talent by continuing to teach the Mode Elle classes and workshops, while also ensuring that all models and talent have a successful on-boarding experience to the Mode Elle roster with a personal promotion strategy.

Outside of Mode Elle, Leah is active in the community, working on creative collaborations and advising businesses on digital driven growth. She continues to work as a model while ushering in the next generation of models and talent.
