Models & talent are considered to be self-employed and are independent contractors. New models & actors are, in essence, starting their own business and when you are opening a business, you must invest in that business in order for it to succeed.

It is important to note that there are very few sports or other extracurricular activities available that offer the participant an opportunity to potentially earn money while enjoying the activity for fun, personal growth and social interaction. A new model or actor starting with Mode Elle versus starting in larger cities such as Toronto or Montreal will save between 30% to 50% for comparable courses and workshops. In the Agency Division at Mode Elle, our focus is on a long-term investment in our models & talent and we promote & manage our models/talent with our payback in future commission opportunities.

Photoshoots booked through Mode Elle with Top Toronto & International Photography teams (consisting of the Photographer, Make-up Artist / Hairstylist & Wardrobe Stylist) are booked based on volume saving approximately $100-$200 or more versus the price you would pay in Toronto or Montreal to work with the same professionals!
